PROJECT DESCRIPTION

CONCEPT

The installation Time Warp is inspired by Albert Einstein’s theory of General Relativity, in particular the conception of gravity and curvature of space-time.
Einstein considers the gravity as the effect of the curvature of space-time in the presence of very large bodies,
the scientist says that nothing exists in space without existing simultaneously in time.
The space and the time seems to be twisted together to form flexible structure of the universe the so called fourth dimensional space-time.
Time Warp part of these concepts, It is composed of various elements each of which has a connection with the theory shown above; the optical fiber refers to the space-time, the concrete blocks, the mirror blocks and infinite mirror are the representation of the bodies.
The installation stands as a representation of the universe, and of the bodies that inhabit it.
